The day, Wednesday, July 14th is Bastille Day, a day where most U. S. French restaurants celebrate their version of our 4th of July. It commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789; it was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern French nation. There are always specials, great celebrations.
