PABU’s reopening party and all are invited



They’re back, they’re back – PABU Izakaya is back after emergency repairs to the interior.  PABU’s reopening party, as with all their events, are fun and done with panache.  PABU invites the public to join the re-opening party celebration  on Friday, March 7th – 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

At the reopening event, guests will enjoy music from local DJ Jay Gray, savor new menu items and explore PABU’s extensive beverage options.  The event will offer guests the first taste of PABU’s new spring cocktails, in addition to a full beverage menu, a sake station and various specials. Cost per person is $30 (excludes tax & gratuity)  Cash bar.

Fells Point’s Fat Tuesday cooking challenge – come taste.



If you have ever had the joy of visiting New Orleans you always remember the food from Gumbo to Po-Boys, Jambalaya to Muffletas, Beignets to Shrimp Creole and more! Spark you food memories with this Sunday, March 2nd Fells Point’s Fat Tuesday cooking challenge as ten restaurants present their best version of New Orleans cuisine in a fork-to-fork competition.  

Gather at Woody’s Rum Bar and Sláinte Irish Pub & Restaurant from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Doors open at 1:45 p.m.)

West Anne Arundel County Restaurant Week – make it a staycation






The popularity of Restaurant Weeks continues to grow – we are in the midst of Anne Arundel’s Annapolis Restaurant Week now – Monday, February 24th to Sunday, March 2nd.  Well that leaves out numerous restaurants in other parts of Anne Arundel County.  Anne Arundel’s West County Chamber of Commerce has initiated their own Restaurant Week which will kick off where Annapolis leaves off – Monday, March 3rd to Sunday, March 9th.  

The new area around Arundel Mills Mall has seen great growth including the Maryland Live Casino and the luxurious the Hotel  at Arundel Preserve.

Ay, chihuahua! Mexican pop-up restaurant at Fork and Wrench restaurant

Put on your sombreros, add Mariachi music to your downloads and get ready for Estafado Cantina. On Monday, February 24 The Fork & Wrench at 2322 Boston Street has guest chef Chad Gauss of the acclaimed Food Market coming in and transforming their restaurant into a “Bad Ass” Mexican inspired cantina for one night only. Guests get to pick and choose from the a la carte menu and enjoy a bevy of Mexican inspired libations.  Seating begins at 6 p.m. - come early for the festivities.

Baltimore’s Restaurant Week is here



 
A bit later this year, Baltimore City’s Restaurant Week is making an appearance in February tied in with the city’s “Absolutely Febulous” promotions with restaurants, hotels and attractions.  There are many deals to be had at local attractions. Make a staycation out of it get a room, enjoy the museums and dine.  See the city like tourist see us in all our glory.  Absolutely Fabulous kicks off today for attractions and hotels and Restaurant Week starts Sunday, February 16th to Sunday, February 23rd with offerings for lunch at $15, Dinner at $20 or 30 and some locations are offering brunch.
