The Restaurant Association of Maryland has kicked off their
fundraising campaign for their Maryland ProStart program, a hospitality
school-to-career program and you could be one of the three winners. Pick one of
three regions that best suits your dining needs:
Baltimore, Howard County/Washington DC Suburbs and Annapolis/Eastern Shore
and then buy your
raffle ticket for $25 – up your odds buy buying 5 tickets at once for $100 or
12 tickets for $200.
Each winner will receive a $100 gift certificate for 25
different area restaurants - a $2500
total value in prizes. Drawing date is
December 7, 2015 Purchase
As a former coach for the Carver Center’s Maryland ProStart
high school culinary team I can tell you your raffle ticket purchases help send
the teams through competitions, with each win comes scholarship money, joy,

Proceeds from the Year of Dining Raffle are
used to help underwrite the cost of hosting the Maryland ProStart Student
Invitational (MPSI). MPSI is the state-wide competition for high school
students who are in culinary arts, restaurant management and baking programs.
Over 30 teams and 100 students will be competing in these state finals. Winners
receive scholarships to post secondary schools and the opportunity to represent
Maryland in the National Competition.
